About Us
Tsageri LAG was established on February 21, 2024 and our mission is to unite local residents, businesses, civil society and the public sector around the creation of a future vision for the municipality and the implementation of projects that will strengthen our economy, environment and life.
Tsageri LAG is based on the EU LEADER (Leadership in Rural Economic Development) approach, which aims to ensure the involvement of local actors in the development of the region. In implementing our activities, we are guided by the principles of equity, transparency and local empowerment, in order to:
- Develop a local development strategy tailored to the needs of the municipality and support its implementation.
- Encourage innovation in agriculture, tourism and other local priority areas.
- Support entrepreneurship and develop the capabilities of local stakeholders.
- Promote the sustainable use of our rich cultural and natural heritage.
Tsageri LAG serves as a bridge between local communities and development opportunities - helping to identify needs, mobilize resources, and create tangible results to improve the living environment. In this role, the Tsageri LAG aims to:
Improving the quality of life of the population of Tsageri Municipality.
We believe that Tsageri can develop rapidly and sustainably if the people who live and work here are actively involved in this process. That is why we bring together people and organizations of different interests and abilities in our activities, and we also invite new members who want to contribute to improving the quality of life in the municipality.
